Moreover, every church and clergyperson we feature on this website is committed to 2SLGBTQ+ welcome and inclusion within the Anglican Church of Canada and the world. That means you can trust that they will be safe for you if you identify as part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

What do you mean by “young adults”?

We aren’t about turning anyone away: If you identify as a young adult, you are welcome here. However, our programming is primarily aimed at people between the ages of 18 and 40, and we make a special effort to reach people in that age bracket.

How involved do I have to be to participate in your programming?

You are welcome to participate to whatever degree you want!

If you want to come out to every single event we offer, we’d love to have you. If you want to come once in a while when it suits your schedule and interests, still we’d love to have you here.

We’re not going to hassle you about getting involved. You’re welcome here exactly as you are. Come as often as you like.

Do you take suggestions for programming?

100%.

Can I/my church partner with Young Adult Anglicans Calgary?

Potentially! We have some minimum asks of every church and clergyperson that wants to partner with us. Get in touch with us and we’ll happily talk it over with you.
